The grade of a ball diamond and how well it is executed will determine how your field will look, play, drain, and how safe it is. With our state-of-the-art equipment made specifically for ball diamond construction, we guarantee the best grade for your location.

A laser guided grader works by establishing a plane at a percentage slope and then relaying that information in order to raise or lower the existing elevation of the surface accordingly. 

Even though incorporating such technology to establish the correct grade will ensure the best properties of your playing surface, not many self-proclaimed "baseball diamond professionals" in the central Ohio region possess the proper equipment to get the job done. It is in your best interest to specifically ask your potential contractor if they have a laser leveling device.

Asking for a laser leveling device, however, is not the only question you need to be asking. Depending on your ball diamond location, you may need multiple slopes or have your ball diamond "crowned" to ensure proper water run off. Crowning a ball diamond consists of a grade from the center (the highest point) to the perimeter. This can only be done with a laser made specifically for ball diamonds!

If your ball diamond was initially installed with a laser and grader box, upkeep may only entail material redistribution with a piece of equipment known as a Harley Rake. However, if your ball diamond is undergoing constant stress and improper upkeep, the only way to restore it back to the original condition is through laser grading.

Do not let anyone convince you that installing a ball diamond without using a laser guided system made specifically for ball diamonds will be as effective.
